Benefits of Nurny
Experience Matters:
When it comes to individualized care, our nannies have experience in therapeutic techniques, positive behavior support systems and other neurodiversity-affirming practices.
Neurodevelopmental Care:
At Nurny, you can rest assured that your nanny is familiar with various neurodevelopmental needs and will attend your child with encouragement and compassion.
Enriching Sessions:
Although our nannies are there to care for your child, they are also educators who will support your child in their ongoing goals, whether that be building independence or upholding current skills learned.
Fostering Independence:
Learning to navigate one’s environment without relying on others is a significant accomplishment. With encouragement and opportunity, our nannies will make use of contrived and naturalistic teaching to reinforce targeted skills.
Facilitating Communication
There are various stages to communication, and we are here to support your child at each stage. Whether your child uses adapted American Sign Language (ASL), Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS), Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, gestures, vocalizations or fluent speech, your nanny will nurture this skill.
Conscious Childcare:
Our nannies play an active role in sessions. They are there to help promote generalization and maintenance of skills taught in school of therapy and organize their sessions around such goals.
