A "rostered search" refers to a process where we review the preferred availability, skill set, and service area of caregivers currently on our roster to match your needs.
At this time, we are unable to consider new candidates outside of those on the Nurny roster for search purposes.
-
During the consultation phone call, we will note your anticipated start date. We will also discuss if you would like a guardian-led hiring process, or a Nurny-led hiring process.
For Family-Led Hiring: Families are responsible for scheduling interviews, meet and greets, along with reference checks as they see fit. For a standard care match: $175 match fee will be applied. For a specialized care match= $225 will be applied. Nurny, LLC will conduct initial virtual screening and background check.
For Nurny-Led Hiring: Nurny, LLC will take care of the screening, interview, reference check, background check and meet and greet. Rates for standard care matches begin at $30 per hour. Rates for specialized care matches begin at $45 per hour.
*Monthly and a-la-carte care schedules are subject to a one-time standard care $175 match fee/ specialized $225 match fee.
Once it's agreed to have Nurny begin the match process, the search for the perfect fit begins immediately.

Our entire team is comprised of amazing, uniquely skilled caregivers who have experience working with neurodiverse and/or populations with disability in a variety of settings.
If you are interested in securing a specialized caregiver (meaning they have a specialty such as speech, OT, ABA, movement therapy, etc), please note that rate of pay begins at $45 per hour and may increase depending on caregivers education, experience and total amount of children requiring care.
If a standard caregiver is your preference, you will still be matched with a caregiver who has at least 1 year of experience working with neurodiversity and/or disabilities, please note that rate begins at $30 per hour depending on caregiver education, experience, and total amount of children requiring care.

If during the search process, you need to cancel your care request OR make an adjustment to the requested schedule, please note the following:
* *Request for an earlier start date:* must provide at least 7 days notice of request before the start date of the new request **(e.g., 6/1 was the planned start date, but now 5/25 is the new request- we would need to know by 5/18)**
* *Request for a later start date or care cancellation:* must provide at least 7 days notice before the originally planned start date **(e.g., 6/1 was the planned start date, but now 7/1 is the new request- we would need to know by 6/24)**
* If notice of cancellation is not provided, you will be charged 25% of the first week service payment.
-
Any request made less than 7 days before the requested start date is considered 'short notice'.
If this type of request is needed, we will charge $75 for an expedited search if a match is found.
-
At this time weekly care schedules are billed on a weekly basis, and a-la-carte or monthly schedules are billed on 24 hours after the last session of the week.
If you would prefer to pay your caregiver on an alternate schedule, we ask that you consider using the "match-only" agreement. With "match-only" you pay a flat $175 fee for standard care or $225 for specialized care if a match is found and hired.
-
There are no late fees associated with delayed payments. If payment is not received prior to your next session, the session will be cancelled.
-
Families will receive an invoice via email within 24 hours of the last session for the week.
In order to ensure that nannies/sitters are paid in a timely and consistent manner, we kindly ask that:
Families submit payment upon receipt of the invoice. Invoices are provided within 24 hours of the last session for the week.
-
You will need to reach out directly to your nanny if this should happen. There are no late fees, but if tardiness is a continued issue, then penalty fees will be incurred and/or sessions will be cancelled.
-
We've all been there. You're enjoying yourself and you don't want the night to end.
If you anticipate that this may happen, we recommened scheduling a buffer in your session (e.g., 30 extra minutes, 1 extra hour) to provide wiggle room. You will not be charged for time unused.
Same day extensions are not permitted at this time. We ask that families submit a request for extension at least 24 hours in advance of their session. Send us an email at hello@nurnychildcare.com and we will contact the sitter to check on availability for you!

Please note that weekly changes to hours needed for care, along with early release dates or preference for pick up, may have an impact on the match timeline and standard.
Throughout the search process we will be in contact to inform you of where we are at in the match process each week until a match is found.
